Sustainable branding: trend or necessity?
As a stylist, I create clothes that last "for centuries". Looking at my grandmother and women of her age, I have always admired the fact that they manage to wear the clothes of their youth after so many years. Their clothes look good and often stay trendy.
I wanted to do the same and make clothes that my clients could wear for years.
I choose high-quality materials and I sew each model with great care and responsibility, so that the higher quality of the models makes it possible to wear them for a long time. But above all I opted for the classics, creating classic and basic pieces with my style and thus evolving towards sustainable fashion and slow production. This is it: I create a few garments, but of high quality!
You probably wonder why I do all of this? It is interesting to replenish the wardrobe with new trendy things every season. However, the fashion world has gained such momentum that 80% of the clothes produced are not sold and are thrown into landfills, thus polluting our planet. Many products are made from synthetic materials and take 100 to 200 years to decompose.
As a result, I am consciuous of the environmental impact of every garment I produce. I hope that after reading this article you will be acting more responsibly too!
